Former member of the CoSTT Board of Directors, Airena Gashi-Hamdiu, has stated that the board had made a decision to establish criminal outcry to the company’s former executive chief, Ilir Shala, following a case of verbal humiliation with sexual restraint against her.

However, according to her, the decision was not signed immediately by the board’s chairman. Confessing to the Dabbat Plus show, Gashi-Hamdiu said that, after being informed of the case, he had officially demanded that the case be handled by the board.

According to her, in March 2021, the board had decided to raise criminal charges against Shala, despite the disagreements of one of the members.

She has stressed that the board’s decisions were usually signed within two days, but this had not happened with the verdict on criminal defamation.

Gashi-Hamdiu has indicated that, after about three and a half months, during another meeting, he had realized that the decision had not yet been processed.

According to her, the decision was signed on July 19th, 2021, and that day the company’s secretary sent the criminal message.
