Former member of the KOST Board of Directors, Airena Gashi-Hamdiu, has stated that the issue of verbal humiliation with sexual restraint by the company’s former executive chief, Ilir Shala, had even established it at the Parliamentary Commission for Economics, but claims it had not been treated at all.

Pointing to the Dabbat Plus show, Gashi-Hamdiu has said that at the time the commission’s meeting had led Life Statovci, in the absence of Chairman Ferat Shala.

Gashi-Hamdiu has said he had made it clear to the members that the language used against her was offensive and unacceptable, but that the issue was not further addressed on the commission.

Gashi-Hamdiu has said that the case of Arlinda Zekaj and the reactions following her murder have prompted her to speak publicly about her experience, raising the issue of solidarity among women.
