Despite numerous criticisms and reactions on the internet following the presentation of the first fully electric model, Ferrari Luce is marking high demand from buyers. The Italian company has reserved almost all units that plan to sell during 2027, although remittances to customers have not yet been launched.
Ferari’s executive director, Beneditto Vigna, has announced during a conference with analysts for third quarter financial results that model development is moving according to plan.
According to him, customers now present to order a Ferrari Luce could face expectations up to a year, as almost the entire amount planned for next year is reserved.
The Ferrari has not shown the exact number of cars intended to produce during 2027. One of the reasons for the production rate is the new factory, designed specifically for the production of electric engines, batteries, and other components of the model.
The company plans to increase production gradually, while some of the first cars are expected to take to the streets before the end of this year. Disperse will intensify during 2027.
To present the model to potential buyers, Ferrari has so far organised more than 50 private presentations in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Peace and five public activities.
International media tests are expected to take place in the first quarter of 2027, after which leadership experiences for interested customers will be organized.
In the United States, Ferrari Luce is expected to start at $560,800, costing $12,190 more than SUV Purosangue with a V12 engine.
