Jethlum Bulnjaku and Sokol Zymer, the boys of heroes Africa Bulnjak and Enver Zymer, two police officials who fell to the post, have graduated at today’s ceremony as part of the 63rd generation of Kosovo Police.

Sergeant Africa Bulnjak was killed on September 24, 2023, in the early hours of the morning during the terrorist attack on Banjska. He was part of the police team that responded to the roadblock at the entrance of the village by two trucks. Police were attacked with heavy weapons by Milan Radojic’s group, while Bunjak was killed at the scene.

Police Enver Zymer had also been killed in the north. He was initially seriously injured on July 25th 2011, during a Kosovo Police Special Unit action for taking control of the border checkpoints in Jarinje and Brnjak, but one day later had died as a result of the wounds suffered. He was shot during an attack on police convoy in Zubin Potok’s area.

Bulnjak and Zymer have also been declared heroes of the state.
