A woman in the village of Vataj in Kacanik has sought police assistance after allegedly facing pressure and psychological violence from her husband. The case was reported Saturday and ended with the detention of the suspect for 48 hours, the Signal newspaper reports.
Signal sources suggest that the woman, identified with the 54-year-old M.J. initials, has announced the police on October 24th, about 12:00, claiming that her husband, E.J., 56-year-old, was practicing psychological violence against her.
According to the victim’s statement, during the day the husband had constantly pressured her, shouting repeatedly.
After reporting, police have intervened, escorting the two men to the police station for handling the case.
The State Attorney has been notified of the case, by whose order the investigation into criminal work ‘%dhuna in the family has been initiated.
The 56-year-old has been scheduled for a 48-hour ban, while the case will be addressed in further procedure by competent organs.
The suspect is considered innocent until his guiltyness is proven by court’s firm form ruling.
