Handburning during holding a cup, writing, or even in a state of calm can have various causes. In some cases stress, fatigue, or excessive coffee consumption are related to stress, but when repeated and daily activities are hampered, it may be a sign of a neurological disorder.
In medicine this phenomenon is known as a thrill and is characterized by involuntarily and rhythmic movements of a part of the body.

According to MedlinePlus, trembling may also be caused by a drop in blood sugar, lack of sleep, anxiety, thyroid problems, and the use of certain drugs.
Four neurologic diseases that can cause hand trembling:
1. Essential Tremor
It is one of the most frequent motion disorders and appears primarily during daily actions, such as drinking, writing, or using telephones. It usually touches both hands, but it can also cause head or voice shaking.
2. Parkinson’s Disease
Parkinson – bound hair is usually seen when the hands are calm and can be reduced during movement. It often begins on one hand and can be accompanied by slow motions and muscle rigidity.
3. Multiple sclerosis
This disease affects the central nervous system and can cause vibrations that become more pronounced as the hand approaches an object. It can also be associated with problems of coordination and balance.
4. Brain shock and traumatic brain damage
The damage to brain parts responsible for coordinating movement can cause involuntarily vibrations, difficulties in coordination, and loss of accuracy during action.
When should medical attention be sought?
If the earthquake repeats, deteriorates, or impedes daily activities, medical or neurologic control is recommended.
If he shows up unexpectedly and is accompanied by weakness or numbness on one side of his body, the difficulty of speaking or distorting his face should immediately require urgent help, as it may be signs of stroke.
