A doctor in Ferizaj who was taking care of the treatment of a drunk patient is suspected of being punched by the patient’s son, who was dissatisfied with the way his parent was being treated. The event has occurred within the emergency service of the Centre for Family Medicine, where intervention of persons present has hampered further escalation of the incident.
Signal Gazeta sources suggest the suspect is Andrew YasarTwenty-six years old, and the doctor who was victim to the attack is F.F., 32.
The incident occurred after midnight, November 1st, about the hour, at the QKMF Emergency in Ferizaj.
According to information provided by the signal, two people had arrived in emergency, one of whom needed medical assistance because of his drunk state.
The other was his son, Andrew Jashar, who, according to the doctor’s statement, had begun to pressure the health staff, expressing dissatisfaction with the treatment being offered to the parent.
Although medical aid was being offered to the patient, Jashar was suspected of continuing with insulting, vulgar speech to the staff.
The situation has become even more tense when staff staff has had to ask for a few times to calm down and leave the room where the patient was being treated because, according to statements, he was hindering the work of doctors.
But then, according to the doctor and a witness, there has also been physical assault.
Yasar is suspected to have hit Dr. F. F. on the left side of his face, while he was on duty.
A person present has immediately intervened and has managed to remove the suspect, while police have reported the incident.
Police units have arrived at the scene and arrested Yasar, who was escorted to the Ferizaj Police Station.
According to initial information, the doctor has not suffered consistent injuries and has not sought medical treatment after the incident.
After consulting the Prosecution, the case for the criminal act has been initiated against the official person and his ban has been ordered for 48 hours.
