ZCustoms officials at the Vermica Border Cross have prevented a case of smuggling goods, during checks carried out at the entrance of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the announcement, the truck was presented at the border checkpoint to conduct import procedures for declared goods.

However, after verifying the documentation, the customs official has decided to realise additional control of the vehicle and cargo. During the search, the presence of undeclared goods, which the truck leader had not submitted for statements to customs authorities, Dogan has announced.

Disadmissing goods constitutes violations of the provisions of the Customs Code and Kosovo Actis, No. 08/L-247, for which the procedures and relevant legal measures are envisioned.

In the case, Kosovo Customs has taken the necessary actions, while administrative procedures are continuing in line with legislation in force. /I did. tv
