Italy’s Defence Minister, Guido Cronetto, has expressed gratitude for Italian soldiers serving on missions, remembering the sacrifice of those who have lost their lives and the suffering of the wounded.
In a response published on Facebook, Crossetto said that the sacrifice of military and their families is often remembered by the country only in moments of tragedy.

He stressed that Italian soldiers serve the country daily, often away from their families, and facing dangers and sacrifices.
The head of the Italian defence also expressed special thanks to Bosnia and Herzegovina Defence Minister Zukan Helez for his support and care of Italian soldiers in these painful hours.
Crosetto said Helez has been standing by Italian soldiers since the first moments of tragedy, caring for them as if they were soldiers in his country.
