The Constitutional Court in Pristina assigned the detention measure a month to two defendants — Gijica Belosovic and Gruica Belosovic — who are suspected of war crimes in co-ordination in the case of the Istog Commission’s Istog Massacre.
The court estimated that the appointment of the detention measure to this criminal case is adequate because there is real danger that if the defendants are released in freedom, the same could prevent the normal development of criminal procedure, to avoid prosecution and become unattainable to justice organs.

This assessment is based on the fact that the defendants have citizenship of the Republic of Serbia, so there is concrete danger that the defendants, with the aim of avoiding prosecution, leave and escape justice, the court said.
The court found that the detention measure is the only measure for the unhindered course of criminal procedure in this criminal case.
Against this act, the parties have the right to complaint at the Court of Appeals, through the Constitutional Court in Pristina, it is said in the announcement of the Foundation Court in Pristina.
