Serbian Intelligence and Security Agency ( BIA has allegedly illegally tapped Prosecutor for Organised Crime ( JTOK, including its leader, Mladen Nenadiq.
According to a research released Sunday by the Serbian media media media, the wiretapping was done with the reasoning that prosecutors were allegedly involved in spying. According to the media’s sources, however, the real reason for surveillance was linked to investigations into the case of the crash of the railway station’s shelter in Novi Sad, where 16 people lost their lives, notes Insander.

According to Radar, BIA had tapped the phones of several prosecutors and even conveyed their electronic communications. This had enabled agency officials to obtain information about the meetings, actions and prosecution plans in the investigation of the case known as Nedsreschnica.
A source of this medium, whose identity has not been made public for security reasons, has said that surveillance prosecutors’ phones were also monitored meetings within the JTOK.
) BIA thus received information about what prosecutors were doing in the case of Nadsrenica, but not just that. So did other prosecutors in the same spaces as his perceptive colleagues. So was JTOK chief Mladen Nenadic, who is in daily contact with all the prosecutors of this prosecution, declared the source.
According to the article, secret surveillance measures against prosecutors were initially imposed on April 9, 2026, and then continued on April 30th, May 29, June 19th, and for the last time on October 7th.
BIA Director Vladimir Orlich, on 29 October, had initiated the complete interruption of these measures. However, according to Radar, part of them had been restored for other purposes, related to the agency’s competencies for conveying criminal groups. The prosecution had continued until October 29th.
Belgrade University Rector Vladan Djokic had also called for full investigation into the way the equipment was set up and identifying responsible persons.
The media writes that the surveillance of prosecutors and the discovery of equipment at the Jurydic Faculty have raised doubts about the illegal use and indiscriminately different measures of surveillance by security institutions during Aleksandar Vucinqi’s power. /Insrider.org
