Jurgen Klopp has found that in the past it has been more on Barcelona’s side in the face of Real Madrid, while the Catalan team sees it as a favourite for the next El Classic.
Liverpool’s former coach has shown that he has always followed this supersphid with interest, but that his preference for Barcelona was also associated with Real Madrid’s way of playing and the actions of some of his defenders.
I was more supportive of Barcelona because I was against the actions of Pepe and other Real Madrid defenders, Klopp said.
However, the German has stressed that today he values the entire team that plays better football, regardless of its name or history.
Based on the current form of teams, Klopp considers Barcelona the favourite for this confrontation, which is expected to be among the most commented on in the season.
El Classico remains one of the largest rivalries in world football, with Barcelona and Real Madrid targeting victory and primacy against the eternal rival.
