Russian authorities have arrested a minor in connection with an alleged terrorist threat against the Tsaritsynno Museum Reserve in Moscow, according to Russian media.
The US Embassy in Russia issued a security alert Saturday warning of a credible threat to a mass casualties event at the scene.
According to the embassy, Washington was co-ordinating an answer with Russian authorities.
Although the embassy did not provide specific details, it advised people to stay alert and avoid crowds.

In the days leading up to the attack, Russian President Vladimir Putin described warnings from a number of Western official bodies regarding the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia) as a provocation.
