Food and Veterinary Agency ( AUV has announced that it has eliminated 21 thousand and 226kg of meat products, attracted by the economic operator E P.C.E.

According to AUV’s announcement, the extermination took place on October 30th 2026, under the implementation of a Veterinary Inspectorate of this agency and under the supervision of its inspectors.

The AUV has announced that, based on this ordinance, the economic operator has continued the process of tracking and attracting food products from the market.

According to the operator’s evidence, waste products include lungs and chicken thighs, chicken meat, beef, beef, other meat products, as well as other food products.

These measures come after the AUV’s initial order to stop the sale, withdraw from the market, and eliminate the 31,000-pound frozen chicken thighs, as the presence of mold was ascertained.

AUV has made it known that the process of tracking and gathering other amounts is still ongoing, especially for products in which changes of organoleptic qualities, including the presence of mold, have been observed.

The products identified as inappropriate for consumption will be subject to relevant measures to ban sales, withdrawal and extermination, the announcement said.
