Coalition V LEN has emerged in official response following the closure of the election process in Brvenica.

From this coalition, they estimate that the elections in Brvenice conducted in a free and democratic process, without incident and no violation of election rules.

In democracy, the will of the citizens is and must remain above all interest, and in local democracies, civic will is and should be non-party. No political party controls the votes and cannot claim ownership over them. Votes belong to citizens who are free to decide who will trust their support. This is a democratic principle to be respected by all.

The elections in this municipality showed us that our country still has a lot of work to do up to building a civic model of the whole. Because, a civic model cannot be built by calling for ethnic vote along with LSDM and Levica. Because, where Levica is, there are no Albanians! Because, in societies with ethnic diversity, every action produces a reaction. Because such a approach risks creating the closed district of the promotional and polarizing rhetoric and deepening ethnic divisions. As a result, instead of progress, we’ll have regrass, say by V LEN.
