Serbia’s Special Antiterrorism Unit commander, Igor Dzoric, was arrested on Tuesday.
Nova.rs. Four former members and current members of the Unit for the Protection of Persons and Objects were also arrested reports.
The arrests relate to investigations into mistreatment of students and citizens during protests in Serbia.
They allegedly participated in police interventions in July and August 2025 at the Belgrade Faculty of Jurydical, where several students were injured and accompanied to the police.
Therefore, Zamirqi had raised criminal speculation about participation in the arrest and mistreatment of students and citizens during last August 14th protest in Belgrade.
