Democratic Party of Kosovo MP ( The PDK, Arian Tahiri, has stated that the trial at The Hague against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders has nothing to do with justice, but, according to him, the overthrow of history and the construction of a false Narrative for Kosovo.
In his speech to the Parliament, Tahiri has demanded that the issue of former KLA leaders be treated as national, state and historical battles, calling on the European Union and the international community to protect justice from any influence.

The trial against them is not about justice, but about the overthrow of history, it’s not about the dawning of the truth, but about building a false narrative for Kosovo. It is a political engineering that is turning our resistance into guilt, those at The Hague can kill their time, but not our contribution or names. Their names, their history and the truth they represent is much greater than that court, Tahiri said.
He has said the battle in The Hague exceeds political differences and parties, while demanding that Kosovo institutions take a common stance.
The Battle in The Hague exceeds our parties, daily policies and differences. We must be in combat together because it is national, state and historical battle. Today when we are entering the seventh year of this reception, we must have a message from this assembly to the international community and especially to the EU. Kosovo was trusted when it sought salvation from the Milosevic regime, when it sought freedom. Today we ask where the standards are equal, where is the voice of Europe? Is this Europe of the values promised to us? We are not asking you to side with anyone, but on the side of justice, to defend justice from any influence, Tahiri said. /eo
