On this anniversary, former AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj estimated that the fall of two heroes represents a special moment in Kosovo’s history, stressing the importance of their resistance.

So, in a way, we can say that these launched the war for the liberation of Kosovo, Haradinaj said, recalling their message of fighting for freedom until sacrifice.

Pristina’s chairman, Progress Rama, also underlined that the sacrifice of Dzitia and Fazliu is an important part of the journey towards Kosovo’s freedom and citizenship.

We must always be united, we must remember the past, understand the sacrifice of our heroes, our martyrs, our country, so that this never happens to us in the future, Rama said.

Meanwhile, Fadhil, Fahri Fazli’s brother, said that the passing of the years has not dimmed the memory of the martyrs; rather, it has made them even closer to citizens.

How many years away, the closer the martyrs are, he said.

The images of the 37th anniversary turned attention to the sacrifice of Africa Gitias and Fahri Fazlius, whose names and works continue to be commemorated as part of the history of resistance to Kosovo’s freedom.
