Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( The LDK), Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, has criticised Government for spending electricity import, saying that in just seven days it has paid 14.9m euros.
In a Facebook post, Lushaku-Sadriu has announced that from October 28th to November 3rd, Kosovo has spent over twom euros a day on electricity imports.

It has written that during the first ten months of 2026, the value of imports has reached 205.3m euros, while since 2021 it has exceeded one billion euros.
According to the LDK deputy, citizens have been expensive with electricity, while the country has become more import dependent and promised investments in the energy sector have not been realised.
This is the cost of a government that has failed to guarantee energy security and adequate local production, it has written. /Insander.org/
