Kosovo President Justina Shiroka Pula has received a letter of congratulations from Austria’s President Alexander Van der Bellen on the occasion of taking office.
In his letter, Van der Bellen has praised relations between Kosovo and Austria in the political, economic and cultural fields, as well as strong ties between the citizens of the two countries.
He has also expressed appreciation for the important role of the Kosovo exile in Austria, and has stressed readiness to co-operate with President Shiroka Pula in further strengthening bilateral reports.
The Austrian president has reiterated his country’s commitment to integration into the European Union of six Western Balkan countries.
In this direction, he has assured that Austria will continue to support Kosovo in implementing reforms and in its progress towards European integration.
At the conclusion of the letter, Van der Bellen has wished President Shiroka Pula success in fulfilling her mandate.
