Elon Musk has declared that his SpaceX company has restricted the Starlink internet service in Ukraine, after Ukrainian officials announced that connection problems appear to have been solved.
The US billionaire accused the Ukrainian Army of violating the terms of Starlink’s use, claiming that commercial civilian service had been used for armed attacks with fears. However, he denied being responsible for reported problems simultaneously with Starschild, a US-run military-level communication system.

Kiev has not officially commented on Musk’s recent statements, while Ukrainian presidential adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov named his post very strange.
Earlier, Musk had denied that he had deliberately stopped connecting Ukraine, as reported problems had raised concerns about the ability of Ukrainian forces to perform defence operations.
The issue emerged last week, at a time of broader tensions between Washington and Kiev over Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil infrastructure.
Musk’s recent statements and the apparent return of the service came after US President Donald Trump said he had asked Tesla’s owner and X platform to restore the service, though he had previously denied having asked him to limit the connection.
The use of Starlink, a civil commercial service, for assault attacks with fear to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be allowed, Musk wrote on the X platform Saturday.
He added that the Ukrainian Army had violated service conditions using it for fear attacks and that this possibility was blocked last week.
