Some birds of the species of Gardelina and the great Christili, illegally caught with nets in Lipjan, have been released into the wild.
Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Victory Pacolli has announced that following information received by Kosovo Police in Magur, the MMPH Inspectorate has intervened in Lipjan.
According to her, the birds have been released into the wild, while the nets used for their capture have been seized by the Inspectorate.
The illegal capture of wild birds will not be permitted. Protecting our wildlife and biodiversity remains a common responsibility, so we must protect each one, Pacolli wrote on Facebook.
