Kosovo Forest Agency ( The APK, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, has conducted an action in the municipality of Lipjan, where illegally cut wooden vehicles have been confiscated.
According to the announcement, the action was carried out by the Pristina Regional Department, under efforts to prevent illegal cuts and protect public forests from harm.
Two tractors and one nation, which were loaded with wood from illegal logging in public forests, have been confiscated during this action.
Authorities responsible have indicated that commitments to forest surveillance and the prevention of illegal activities that harm the country’s forest wealth will continue.
