Nikolly and Gropcaj were sentenced to 10 years in prison, Dedddreaj and Pepa for nine years, while Lushi was sentenced to 10 years and nine months in prison. Punishments are linked to the plot to commit theft, theft, and, in some cases, possession of property acquired by criminal activity.

In this case, a British woman, Yade Tub, 33, has also been sentenced to a prison sentence of 12 months on bail for two years, having pleaded guilty to possession of criminal property.

Investigations revealed a network operating in several circuits

The investigation began in October 2024, when detectives in McClesfield identified a series of similar methods in the Cheshire area. With the expansion of investigations and co-operation with other district police, authorities found similar thefts were being carried out in various parts of Britain.

Investigators analyzed traces of shoes left at the scene, images and data from automatic license systems, as well as phone communications among suspects.

According to police, four of the accused often met at a café in the Yeweller Quarter area of Birmingham. During searches conducted on July 2nd 2025 in several addresses in Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham, police arrested some of the suspects. Lefty was later arrested on September 3, 2025, at his Sheffield home.

During the raids, police seized 13 bags of expensive brands and 14 hours worth nearly 17 thousand pounds. Mobile phones were also seized, where hundreds of photos of stolen items and messages containing Google Maps’ connections to theft locations were found.

Authorities linked suspects to at least 59 thefts in certain areas of Britain, including Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamhamshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire. The total value of stolen property exceeds a million pounds, while police believe most of the stolen items had already been sold.

Week targets for stealing gold were set

Detective Sergeant Laura Fox from the investigation unit in McClesfield said the investigation found that the group carefully selected victims and studied properties before committing theft.

According to her, members of the group had also set weekly targets for the amount of gold intended to steal. They also exchanged messages that boasted about their actions and distributed photos of stolen items.

Fox praised co-operation between various police forces, saying the investigation showed the importance of co-ordinating for identifying and prosecuting criminal groups operating beyond administrative boundaries.

Meanwhile, Chief Inspector David Worthington warned that people travelling towards Cheshire to commit crimes would be prosecuted, regardless of where they live.

The case concluded a broad investigation into an organised group targeting dozens of homes in Great Britain, causing losses exceeding a million pounds.
