Through a Facebook post, Vitia pointed out that this is the fourth specialization competition to be launched in less than four years.
According to him, the priority in this competition has been given to the deficits and needs of regional health institutions. For the first time, the Health Ministry will also finance 20 countries for Family Medicine.

The innovation of this competition is the launch through the digital system. Candidates will complete electronic data and the system will estimate the scores according to competition criteria. After vetting the board, each candidate will have access to his own scores, Vitia has announced.
The minister has also warned that a new competition for professional schooling will soon be announced, which will be dedicated to the needs of private health institutions.
According to him, this process aims to create more opportunities for doctors and increase transparency in candidates’ selection.
