Kosovo Rural Loan ( The KPC has made a decision on full pardon of the registered loan debt in the name of Arlinda Zekaj, who was killed on October 25th in Vitomirica in Pec.

Through a public announcement, the financial institution has indicated that the decision was made after considering the circumstances and assessment of the case.

Our institution, the Rural Loan of Kosovo ( KRK, announces public opinion that, after reviewing the circumstances and assessment of the case, it has been decided on full pardon of the credit debt registered in the name of the deceased, Mrs. Arlinda Zekiaj, says the announcement.

According to KPC, the decision is aimed at handling the case responsibly and institutionally.

The institution has confirmed that the financial obligation will be forgiven in all, and that all necessary administrative and financial actions for implementation of the decision will be taken.

This development comes after the serious murder of Arlinda Zekaj, who was allegedly killed by her brother-in-law, Albert Sylaj, in Vitomirica, Peja.

Its murder prompted numerous public reactions and raised serious concerns about the way institutions had addressed the victim’s convictions and demands for protection.

KPC has stressed that it remains committed to institutional responsibility, transparency and fair treatment of cases.

With that decision, Arlinda Zekaj loan debt is fully forgiven.
