U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has sent a letter to the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei calling for the resumption of negotiations and the prevention of new American bombings on the Islamic Republic, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The letter was written at Donald Trump’s order, said a source quoted by the newspaper.
According to the publication, Vance’s goal is to assess if Tehran and Washington can find sufficient convergence points to convince The trick not to give the order to launch a new brief attack, but a potential against Iran in the coming weeks.
