American Army Central Command Commander ( CENTCOM, Admiral Brad Cooper, has informed President Donald Trump about possible military options against Iran during a meeting held Thursday at the White House.
The news was reported by The Wall Street Journal, referring to American officials and persons familiar with discussions.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Army Chief of Staff General Dan Caine, and other members of the presidential cabinet also attended the meeting.
According to the report, the meeting was preceded by another discussion Wednesday, where military officials met with vice president JD Vance.
Discussions are held at a time when the Trump administration is considering the possibility of launching a new military campaign against Iran, following US and Israeli air strikes conducted earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the US has added air protection systems, ammunition and other military supplies to the Middle East in recent weeks.
According to the report, part of American troops are also shifting from bases considered most exposed to possible Iranian retaliation.
