Kosovo Hospital Clinical and University Service ( The USKKUK has authorised the Legal Office to address competent bodies to verify reports concerning the detention of Mitrovica Hospital Director Guzim Berisha, under suspicion of domestic violence.

In a media report, the SHSKUK has described these reports as extremely disturbing, stressing that violence in any form is punishable and tolerable under any circumstances.

The USKKUK General Director has immediately authorized the Legal Office to officially address competent bodies to urgently verify these claims, the statement said.

The SHSKUK has announced that, after receiving official information from competent bodies, it will take stricter administrative and legal measures towards the director in question.
