Serbia’s former president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has rejected the possibility of handing over Milan Radojic, former vice president of the Serbian List, to Kosovo authorities.
He claims such an act would imply formal recognition of Kosovo’s independence and would mark, according to him, the beginning of the end of the Serbian state.

Just keep in mind that the handover of Radojici or anyone else in Pristina, in any form, would imply recognition of the state of Kosovo and the beginning of the end of the Serbian state. This would not be the capitulation, but the de jure recognition of Kosovo. It is not indirect recognition, but for formal legal recognition of the state of Kosovo, the 56-year-old said.
Referring to Radojciqi’s case, Vucic also cited the judicial procedure against him for the criminal act of causing danger. He claimed the tribunal had sought evidence from EULEX, but this mission had assessed that the issue belongs to Kosovo justice.

We remember that Radojciq is wanted by Kosovo authorities for organising and participating in the terrorist attack in Banjska on 24 September 2023, where Kosovo Police Sergeant Africa Buxaku was killed.
In Serbia, meanwhile, a separate review has been launched regarding the way his case is handled by justice bodies, especially the decision not to assign the detention measure, despite suspicions of serious criminal acts.
According to information from the Nova.rs portal, one of the reasons mentioned for failing to establish that move was the way then-prosecutor Nikola Panteliq had argued the request for detention.
In his request, he had presented only one circumstance that could indicate that Radovici, if he remained free, could prevent the development of the procedure.
The danger of escape was concerned, but that reason was deemed insufficient, since Radovici had submitted herself and voluntarily for questioning at the High Public Prosecutor in Belgrade. /Telegraphy/
