The Founding Prosecutor in Pec through a post on the social Facebook network has announced the public opinion that today he received a video from a citizen in which one is seen exercising violence against a victim in the town of Pec.
After receiving the video, the general department’s guardian prosecutor has immediately authorised the Kosovo Police for identifying the suspected person and the victim, as well as for taking necessary investigative and legal actions.
Police station investigators in Pec have accompanied the suspected person and victim to the police, with the aim of taking further procedure actions.
After the interview, at the order of the state prosecutor, the suspected person has been detained for 48 hours.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec thanks citizens for their confidence and co-operation in reporting cases that conflict with the law.
The prosecution, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, will continue to undertake all necessary legal actions for handling such cases.
