Long receptions and kiloometric convoys of vehicles are registered on Sunday at Kosovo border points with Serbia, where travellers are facing delays of up to four hours.
According to data from the National Centre for Border Management ( The KKPC, the worst situation, is presented at the Jarinje border crossing, where exit receptions from Kosovo reach up to four hours, while the convoy of cars is about 3.5 kilometers long.
Even at the entrance of this border point, expectations reach up to three hours.
Considerable delays have also been reported in Merdare. To get out of Kosovo, travelers have to wait between 90 and 120 minutes, while the motorcade reaches as many as three kilometers. At the entrance of this point, expectations range from 30 to 40 minutes.
According to reports, the increased flow of vehicles relates to elections in Serbia, for which citizens from the Serb community in Kosovo have travelled to vote.
Meanwhile, at other border points with Albania, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro, including Vremica, Elez Khan, Tower and Globocia, circulation is under way without any significant delays, waiting for three to five minutes.
