Director of Health and Social Goodness in Gjilan, Mimoza Kadriu, has visited the offices of the Pensioners’ Association in Gjilan. She is hosted by President Metush Dubova and the head of Pentecost Gynai Bajrami.

After the renovation of the offices, we have completed the inventory of areas dedicated to pensioners, taking an important step towards functioning their own, Mimoza Kadriu said. The Social Health and Health Review showed that a promise is also being made by the mayor of the Gjilan municipality, Alban Hyseni, to create better conditions for our pensioners.

Currently, even the act of retired women and pensioners will generally have their own spaces, where they can spend their leisure time, organise activities and maintain social ties, Kadriu said. The director added that caring for the third age implies respect for their experience, dignity, and contribution to society.

We will continue to commit to having adequate spaces and opportunities for an active and dignified life, said director Kadriu.
