Alliance MP Teuta Haxhiu has singled out the Democratic Party of Kosovo request ( The PDK) for the Specialised Chambers Law to be returned to the Assembly for review.

At FEVE TV Dukagjin, Haxhiu has said the law has already been adopted by two-thirds of the vote in the Assembly, and that attention should focus on the appeals process for former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders being tried in The Hague.

For me this is a non-serious subject. Not only has this two-thirds vote law been voted in the Assembly, but we have a process ahead of us until the end of The Hague’s Appeal of Saviors. There’s a lot of work to do. The Alliance has made its contribution, I will always give it. But going back is not serious. However, we have to give our best of a job on the working team that has been formed, and the Alliance has its own representative. But, above all, as a state, much work must be worked up to Apel, with finance, with legal support and all required by the state, Haxhiu has declared.

She has stressed that the Alliance has given and will continue to make its contribution, citing the representation of this party in the working team formed on the issue.

According to Haxhiu, institutions should focus on providing financial and judicial support for the appeals process, as well as on all needs that could be presented during the process.

How going back is not serious and this was supposed to happen in the Assembly, she said.
