Democratic League of Kosovo ( The LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has reacted following the assassination of Arlinda Zekiaj in Vitomirica of Pec, saying she had sought protection from the state and that three days before she was killed, had warned the prosecutor of the risk to her life.
In a Facebook post, Obadiah published a photo of Arlinda’s letter, expressing pain in the fact that her request for help failed to prevent the tragedy.

In his reaction, the LDK leader has expressed condolences to the Arlinda family, saying she was forced to defend while she was alive, while justice is now required for her.
Obadiah has called on institutions to act on the protection of other women who live in fear and seek help so that such cases do not repeat themselves.
