Lamine Yamal was the favourite fan on the Betfair Golden Ball platform 2026, but the award ended in Harry Kane’s hands.
The star at Barcelona received 64 percent of its support, while Kane provided 17 percent and Kylian Mbppé only six percent.
However, in the official ranking, Kane was declared the winner, Mbppé finished in second place, while Yamal was ranked third.
According to Betfair’s data, Kane was the favourite in 12 of the 15 moments analysed during the season, while Yamal headed only two.
These figures reflect support and forecasts on the platform, not the official votes of the Golden Ball jury.
