Aleksandar Vuciq, host of the United Serbia list, has declared the Student List has won parliamentary elections in Serbia, reports Radio Free Europe.

His statement comes after the outcome of the vote in an election process, during which incidents in several locations have been reported.

Student List candidate, former baseball player Dejan Bodiroga, urged citizens to stay in their settlements, support observers of this list, follow developments and help each vote be protected peacefully and with dignity.

Tonight we need all of Serbia to be where they voted. Serbia is not in Belgrade, Serbia is in Serbia, Bodiroga told reporters.

He reiterated the students’ previous call to social networks to all Belgrade citizens not to gather in countries where increased presence of police and uniform-free persons has been observed.
