Kosovo’s government has approved the Bill on Budget Breaks of the Republic of Kosovo for 2027 at its ninth meeting
Prime Minister Albin Kurti spoke at a Government meeting for extraordinary income performance.

Kurti said that for 2027, the projected budget envisions the level of 4.27 billion euros, which he said is up to 200m euros higher than the 2026 revised budget and for 300m euros higher than the 202650 basic budget.
He said they are making fiscal sustainability by keeping the deficit and public debt at the lowest levels historically.
He mentioned the transformation of the revenue structure.
As long as in the preliminary governance, the concentration of the burden of revenue collection is put mainly on Customs, with our internal income governance growing faster because the economy is growing and employment is increasing, he said.
Kurti said that this year, Kosovo is among the countries with the fastest economic growth in the region and wider.
This year, despite the challenges we are facing across the world, economic growth has marked 5.4 and 4.1% levels for the first quarter and the second quarter, respectively. This puts us in the fastest growing countries in the region and beyond, he said.
