The United States has pressured Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian refinerys, which, according to them, are contributing to increased energy prices — a sensitive issue for Trump administration, which is declaring war on Iran as the mesmandat elections approach next month.
In an interview broadcast Sunday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that, for Kiev to stop the attacks, Moscow must stop attacks on energy infrastructure, Euronews.al writes.
As an alternative, the US should allow the use of the Starschild satellite system on Russia to detect missile launching sites or to supply Ukraine with Patriot missiles, he added.
