The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has again mentioned Greenland, naming it the greatest gift the United States has ever received from Europe.
During an interview with Fox News television, Trump stated that Europe had given Americans an extraordinary gift, referring to Greenland’s island.
Europe was good. They simply gave the United States the greatest gift we have ever received. You know what that was? Groenlanda, Trump said.
The interview fragment was also published by the US State Department in its official account on the social X network.
