US President Donald Trump has warned he will use veto rights if the Democrats and Republicans fail to co-operate in Congress.

Democrats and Republicans can be very productive if they work together. But if this does not happen, then we do this: V EAR, has declared Trump.

His statement comes after the Mesmandati elections, in which the Democrats secured control of both chambers of the US Congress, changing political reports in Washington.

With this result, the Trump administration will face an opposition-controlled Congress, which could make it difficult to adopt laws and implement its political agenda.

However, the American president has the right to veto the laws approved by Congress, unless both chambers can outrun it by two-thirds of the vote.

Otherwise, the Democrats have secured 54 seats in the U.S. Senate, including two independent senators joining them, against 44 Republican seats.

Meanwhile, in the House of Representatives, the Democrats have 253 seats, while Republicans 157, strengthening their control in both chambers of Congress. /Telegraphy/
