The justice ministry has responded to MP Bledi Cuci and Fatmir Xhafaj’s letter regarding the transfer of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, from Durres prison to Fieri’s.

Sources for A2 Journalists CNN Ferrela Belesi suggests that the Justice Ministry has announced that it is currently being inspected and verified the entire procedure followed for Veliaj’s transfer.

Chuchi and Xhafaj were earlier addressed with an official letter to Justice Minister Tony Gogh, asking for information on how the transfer was carried out and if all legal procedures were respected.

The two MPs sought to get acquainted with the documentation and institutional steps followed in the decision. /A2Conn/
