A 61-year-old of Albanian origin lost his life Wednesday morning as a result of a job accident in Cassarano, in the province of Lecce, Italy.

The victim has been identified as the Rushan Union, the owner of a construction company, which allegedly remained trapped under a slippery gate that collapsed on it.

According to the Italian media report “Tgcom24,” emergency teams have arrived at the scene, but have not been able to save 61-year-olds. They have only ascertained his death.

Carabinieri and SPESAL inspectors, a body that handles surveillance and safety at workplaces have also emerged.

Full circumstances of the accident and the way the slippery gate fell upon the victim are expected to be clarified by investigations.
