A serious event, which has been possible to end with fatal consequences, took place Sunday at noon on the river road of Unild University in Pristina, where a man was allegedly deliberately hit by vehicle, dragged back and then physically assaulted by several other people, the Signal newspaper reports.

According to information provided by the signal, the victim is R. Aliu, about 41, who has suffered serious bodily injuries and has been rushed to the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo.

The event was reported on October 25, 2026, about 12:50, when police have reported a clash in this part of the capital.

Units of the South Police Station, investigators and crime-technique have come to the scene, where they encountered four people who claimed to have been attacked by a man who led a Mercedes GLE black.

According to initial statements, the driver of the vehicle had managed to hit one person and drag him to another location, where he was suspected of being received by his family, who had later beaten him.

After the attack, suspected persons have fled with the same vehicle in an unknown direction.

The victim has been transported for treatment at the KKUK emergency. Doctors have ascertained serious injuries, but according to initial information, his condition is out of danger for life.

Signal learns the name of one of the suspects

Signal sources suggest one of the people being sought under the investigation is A.T. (1998).

Pristina General Investigation Unit investigators, with police station officials assisting the South police station, have gone to his residence address but have not found it there.

He’s been given an invitation to appear in the police station about the case.

Meanwhile, in the investigation, Ekrem Aliu, about 36 years old, Fitim Aliu about 44 and Naser Mavrqi about 31, who are involved in the interview procedures for clarification of the clash and the alleged work of fighting.

According to the police report, people encountered at the scene were initially interviewed as witnesses to the attempted assassination, while after securing footage of security cameras they were also interviewed in the quality of suspects participating in beatings.

A 12-year-old child was also heard under the investigation, as it was reported that he was also attacked by the person who had left the scene.

The State Attorney’s Office has been reported, which has directed the initiative of the case for two criminal acts, attempted murder and beating taking.

The persons interviewed for participating in the beating have been released in regular procedure, while investigations into identifying and finding persons responsible for the attack are continuing.
