Oda of Kosovo Republic Engineers ( O The IRK has requested information from Prizren municipal institutions regarding the collapse of the gold concrete plate at a construction facility where several workers remained injured.

In a public reaction, O The IRK has voiced concern about the case, stressing the importance of respecting professional and technical standards during the implementation of construction works, with the aim of ensuring security in the workplace.

Oda has made it known that it has officially been addressed to the Directorate of Inspectors and the Directorate of Urbanism and Spatial Planning of the Prizren Community, seeking information on construction permits, engineers responsible for professional supervision and leadership of works in the workplace.

According to OIRK, this data is needed to verify whether the laws of Law No. 08/L-0112 for the Odas of architects and Engineers at Construction Field, especially those related to the commitment of licensed engineers and their professional responsibilities.

Oda has warned that after receiving the information she will consider the case from the aspect of the professional engagement and responsibilities of licensed engineers.

If professional offense-based allegations are identified, O The IRK has said it will take relevant actions, in line with its legal competencies and regulations.

In response, Oda has congratulated quick recovery on injured workers. /Telegraph/
