The US has called on Kosovo and Serbia to show restraint and take concrete steps to build mutual confidence, preserve stability and continue the dialogue facilitated by the European Union.
The American representative Tammy Bruce has conveyed this position during the United Nations Security Council meeting, where she has stressed the importance of achieving peace between the two countries.
Bruce has announced that American President Donald Trump wants Kosovo and Serbia to enjoy peace, stability and prosperity, calling on both sides to engage constructively in the dialogue process.
Peace with Kosovo and Serbia is not only essential, Trump admires both countries and wants peace, stability and prosperity. We call on the two sides to show restraint, to take practical steps towards building trust and maintaining stability, as well as to engage constructively in the EU facilitated dialogue, Bruce said.
