German Ambassador Rainer Rudolph has declared that the European Union is not putting pressure on Kosovo and Serbia for the dialogue process, but that the two countries must commit to furthering this process.
Speaking of reports between Kosovo and Serbia, Rudolf has stressed that dialogue is facilitated by the European Union through its special representative, while citing holding a summit as a concrete step forward.
Well, I think it’s not about pressure from the European Union, but about the need for both countries — Kosovo and Serbia — to work within this process, which the EU facilitates through its special representative. But we’re not putting pressure on him, he said EO.
The German diplomat has added that a high-level meeting between Kosovo and Serbia, with the European Union’s mediation, would represent a concrete step within efforts to advance the dialogue.
Look, this is obviously part of the dialogue process that we want to move forward. A concrete step would, for example, be holding a high-level meeting between the two countries, facilitated by the European Union. This would be a concrete step, Rudolph explained.
