Vetevendosje Movement MP Fahrish Rexhepi has reacted after the incident occurring today before the Kosovo Assembly, where, according to him, he faced an unacceptable act by some protesters.

Rexhepi has said the event has also affected him because of his family’s history and its contribution to the KLA war and the path to Kosovo’s freedom.

What happened today hurts. Not just for what happened to me, but because such acts do not do Kosovo honor, nor the sacrifice of our people, nor the values we fought for, Rexhepi wrote.

He has said that such actions, according to him, do not do even a favor to persons in The Hague and are facing trial.

Rexhepi has indicated that some identified persons have requested a meeting with him to apologise, but has stressed that this does not close the case.

An apology is everyone’s personal choice, but it doesn’t close the case, he wrote.

The MP has also claimed that the person who, according to him, has ordered the attack is already known.

Rexhepi has indicated that the case will further proceed to competent law and justice bodies. /Telegraphy/
