Albania’s prime minister, Edi Rama, has reiterated this Saturday, October 31st, calling on student protesters to sit in dialogue with the government, while protests against him have been continuing for more than two weeks.
Through a video published on Facebook, Rama, referring to the Stone Soup, has called on students to sit at the table of discussion to review their education requirements and find solutions to the concerns raised.

The head of government has thus reiterated readiness for dialogue, demanding that students’ demands be discussed through communication with government representatives.
However, students have so far rejected Rama’s repeated invitation for talks, continuing the protests and insisting on the prime minister’s resignation.
Anti-government rallies have been held for more than two weeks, while so far there has been no agreement on starting dialogue between the parties.
