Association of Kosovo Journalists ( The AGK has expressed deep concern after the immediate departure of seven journalists from the clankosova portal.tv, raising concerns about working conditions and dealing with employees in this medium.

Outgoing journalists are Genita Ukaj, Lendita Elshani, Albina Hajoli, Lufi Gashi, Albert Bajrami, Kasim Gerbeshi and Endrit Krasniqi.

According to AGK, based on public statement and communications with journalists, evacuations have resulted in the demand of portal leaders for additional engagement during the development of a television show, without adequate compensation.

The AGK has expressed regret over the departure of journalists, who have described them as highly experienced professionals with several years of experience in the Kosovo media, assessing that they have been forced to leave because of unconventional treatment.

According to the Association, this case again testifies to the difficult working environment journalists face in many editorials in Kosovo.

In her response, the AGK has called on the Kosovo Clan and other media to observe the working Law provisions, as well as to ensure the implementation of the rights of journalists and other employees.

The association has expressed full solidarity with seven expelled journalists, offering support to any need, including legal assistance.
